The “3 Gondole” route is one of the most complete MTB/e-bike itineraries in the upper Bormio valley, connecting three areas and involving the area’s three main ski lifts:
- in Valdidentro , the Isolaccia-Pian della Mota cable car
- in Bormio , the Bormio-Bormio 2000 cable car
- in Santa Caterina , the S.Caterina-Vallalpe cable car
The 3 Gondola ticket includes a single ride on three lifts: the Santa Caterina Valfurva cable car (1st and 2nd section), the Bormio–Bormio 2000 cable car and the Isolaccia–Pian della Mota cable car.

Junior (2011 – 2018): €17
baby (>2019): €17
Valid for one day and the following day, the price also includes a free ride on the Bormio 2000–Cima Bianca cable car—a section reserved exclusively for very experienced bikers. Children born in 2019 and later travel free when accompanied by a parent with a paid ticket.
The Isolaccia-Pian della Mota cable car will be closed every Monday except August 10 and 17, 2026.
Classic itinerary
- Departure from Bormio .
- Transfer to the Isolaccia–Pian della Mota cable car in Valdidentro .
- Return to Bormio.
- Ascent with the Bormio–Bormio 2000 cable car (or up to Cima Bianca for very expert bikers).
- Descent and transfer to Santa Caterina Valfurva .
- Ascent with the Santa Caterina–Vallalpe cable car.
- Lunch break at the Sunny Valley refuge.
- Descent through the Val di Rezzalo .
- Return to Bormio along the Valtellina trail .
